new tip series: how to act on...
Hey everyone!
I just want t apologize for how active I haven't been. I came home after a date on Friday and came up with this really neat tip series idea!

It will cover how to act on different dates.

Because we all know that each type of date is different and requires a different way to act. For example a skate night can be goofy, as to where a dinner night can be more serious and romantic.

I will be covering these things for every how to act tip:

♥mood: how the feel of the date will be from goofy to serious

♥manners: what manners you should be remembering

♥what to wear: I will give general outfit ideas and do an outfit set if requested

♥what to bring: some dates require additional items

♥what to say: just the general idea of what you can talk about

♥what to expect: every date will be different I will just give general expectations

please request if you have a specific date in mind & tell me how you're liking the idea & the set!

Hello there, long time no.... tip. Holly [ @hollybear73 ] here. Sorry I've been so busy with school, groups, and other accounts. So, on with the tip!

°Base polish [neutral color]
°Bold polish
°Plastic wrap
°Nail polish remover [for fixing around finished nail]
°Lots of time and patience

→what to do
°Apply 2 coats of your base nail polish. Let dry completely

°Add 1 coat of your bold nail polish

°Quickly dab your bold polish with a crumbled up piece of plastic wrap

°Let dry completely

°If desired, add another coat of bold polish and dab with different piece of plastic wrap

°Let dry and apply your top coat

°Fix areas around nail to clean up your work

-Remember, with each nail, use a different piece of plastic wrap.

How To Wear; Flower Crowns!
Hey everyone! It's @makenzie-mcginty here!
Sorry I haven't made a set in a while.
Anyways, this is my first How To Wear!
Flower Crowns are one of my favorite spring accessories. They can make any outfit more boho and girly, and are so simple.
Here are some outfits I love that incorporate flower crowns!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

O1. SUMMERTiME ♥

&+ This look is perfect for those days when it's super hot outside, and you want to add something extra to a boring outfit. For this look, I paired a muscle tee with some distressed high waisted shorts. I finished it off with some Converse and my flower crown, of course!

O2. COMFY BUT CUTE ♥

&+ For this look, I paired a mint sweater with some tribal print leggings. Then, I put some oxfords and a pink and white flower crown.

O3. SEMi-FORMAL ♥

&+ I'm obsessed with this look! It's perfect for those days where you want to look dressed up, but don't want to go all out. I first took a black crop top and paired it with a mint skater skirt. I topped it off with some lace-up boots and my flower crown!

O4. FORMAL BUT STiLL GiRLY ♥

Want to look dressed up, but still have a boho feel to your outfit? First, take a cream lace dress (you could belt it if you want) and put on platform heels and a flower crown!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So that was it!
I hope you enjoyed!
xoxo,
Makenzie

diy string light shades♥
hey everyone! This is just a quick simple diy that I thought was uber cute and wanted to share it with you guys!

THiNGS YOU'LL NEED:
♥string of white led lights (white christmas lights)
♥1 sheet of paper
♥fabric (any color and pattern you want, amount will depend on how long your string of lights is)
♥glue
♥plastic cups (perferably ones this shape https://www.wallyspartyfactory.com/assets/Clear-Plastic-Tumblers-88ct.jpg)

♥STEP ONE:

Take the sheet of paper and place the cup onto it. Roll the cup across the paper while drawing on the top and bottom to trace the outline. This will be your template to cut the fabric out with.

♥STEP TWO:

Cut out fabric using the template you just made.

♥STEP THREE:

Glue the fabric on to the cups & let dry.

♥STEP FOUR:

Cut a cross at the bottom of the cup to stick the lights into.

And you're all finished! http://pinterest.com/pin/5559199510665166/ that is where I saw the idea at!

all about hiking♥
Hey everyone!

I love hiking and i'm planning on going alot with my boyfriend this spring and summer. This tip will give you the benefits of hiking, tips, how to get started, things to remember and much more♥.
O1. BENEFiTS

♥. HiKiNG iS GREAT EXCERSiSE.

Depending on the difficulty of the trail and how long you're hiking for, you can get a really good workout! It can be considered an aerobic workout if you push yourself hard enough, but it also works your lower body.

♥. YOU GET TO ViEW NATURE.

Just being outside and getting fresh air can make anyones day better! It can be relaxing to take in all the sights.

♥iTS FUN!

It's a free, simple, and fun activity anyone can do!

O2. DOs OF HiKiNG

♥CHOOSE THE RiGHT TRAiL.

If you never been hiking don't start off with a difficult trail. Read ahead on what trail your going on and look at the difficulty.

♥CHOOSE THE RiGHT SHOES.

For shorter & easier hikes wear comfy walking/running tennis shoes that you don't mind getting dirty. For longer & more difficult hikes it may be wise to invest in hiking boots.

♥GO WiTH FRiENDS.

For saftey reasons go with at least one other person. If you insist on going alone make sure to tell multiple people where and when you are going and carry a cell phone.

♥TAKE YOUR TiME.

Hiking isn't a competitive sport. Take your time, enjoy the nature, and have fun.

♥DO SOME RESEARCH.

Look up reviews on the trail to get a feel of what it will be like.

O5. DONTs OF HiKiNG.

♥DON'T RUiN THE TRAiL.

Don't leave trash and don't damage your surroundings. It ruins the experience for others.

♥DON'T GO DURiNG WiNTER.

I know winter is a far time away but unless you are an experienced hiker stay away from the trails when theres snow.

♥DON'T BRiNG A TON OF THiNGS.

I will put a packing list of stuff to bring for more moderate hiking trips. If you're only hiking for an hour or two just bring a small backpack with water a phone and snacks.

♥DON'T WANDER OFF THE TRAiL.

The trail is there for a reason, use it!

O4. PACKiNG LIST.

Here are some essentials for a more moderate hike:

+smallish backpack
+quick snacks packed with energy, i.e granola bars
+rain gear. (only needed in spring/fall time or if you're expecting rain.)
+cell phone
+map of area
+gps (optional)
+first aid items
-Bandaids
-asprin
-benadryl creme (for if you stumble upon something you're allergic too)

How To Be Less Awkward♥

How To Be Less Awkward♥
Hey everyone, i'm here with a tip on how to be less awkward!

Now i'm not saying being awkward is a bad thing, but there is some situations where you want to appear confident and collected.

Anyways on to the tip!

♥1. THiNK BEFORE YOU ACT/SPEAK.

This should be a no brainer. Just think to yourself will this make others feel uncomfortable or will it weird them out? If the answer is yes then don't say it!

♥2. HAVE CONFiDENCE.

Hold your head high and be confident with yourself and others will see you that way.

♥3. SPEAK UP.

To avoid those awkward silences, talk!

♥4. BE UPDATED.

To be able to talk to people you should know what is happening in the world. Get informed about some topics that interest you so you have some conversation starters.

♥5. AVOiD THE AWKWARD STARE.

Make sure to make eye contact with others, but not too much as to make it weird.

♥6. DON'T BE TOO SERiOUS.

Laugh at jokes appropriately, and don't take everything too seriously.

♥7. WATCH YOUR BODY LANGUAGE.

Body language says alot about how someone is feeling. Make sure to keep your body language simple not too rigid.

♥8. GO WiTH THE FLOW.

Adapt to your situations as needed. You would act a different way in the classroom than you would with your friends.

♥9. JUST RELAX.

Just relax and don't overthink things. Being awkward isn'ta bad thing. Sometimes you just need to relax and laugh it off.

[holly's review on...] iPhone vs. Android

[holly's review on...] iPhone vs. Android
Hey guys! I'm back with my second tip while on this account [btw, thanks for the 70+ likes] This tip is about the perks and disadvantages of iPhones vs. the perks and disadvantages of and Android. Let's begin!

I actually have an Android phone and I live the phone it self but there are a few setbacks.

-Battery Life:
The battery life on my HTC Evo Design 4G is horrible. About 80% of the time I've had it, it was dead. I've gone to my phone provider multiple times and they couldn't fix it.

-App Access:
Let's be honest, iPhone is much more popular so it has all the "first dibs" on new apps. For example, iPhone has Polyvore, WeHeartIt, etc. while Android is suck with the crappy 2nd hand apps.

-Phone Accessories:
iPhones have pretty much always been all the rave so they get cool cases [such as 1D, JB, tribal prints, etc.] But Androids have the 'heavy-duty' cases that aren't so pleasant to the eye

Perks of Android:
-Management:
The settings on these phones are very easy to manage. They're simple and easy to understand

-Overall look
Although it's not just a screen, home button, and speaker, these phones are slim and simple

-Camera
The camera is awesome. It's high quality and it comes with effects with out having to download an effect app.

Perks of iPhone:
-Popularity:
Since these phones are popular, you aren't "cool" unless you have one. They have a wide range of accessories too.

-iTunes
Androids don't have iTunes which is a bummer cause you can really listen to music without Youtube running

-Battery Life:
For what I've heard, these phones have great battery life and they pretty much last forever

-Texting
iPhones have that special format with the bubbles that are really easy to read and they also have those emoji things, too!

-Cases
These phones have really cute case. The list of the ones you can get are never ending and there's a wide variety

Disadvantages:
-Durability
Unless you get a heavy-duty case, these phones break easily. I am always seeing broken screens or a shattered back
(but you can do fun designs with sharpies)

-Charger Change
The change of charger from iPhone 1-4s and 5 is a bother. You have to buy an extra $25 charger instead of reusing your old one.

That's all for now! If you want me to add your ideas to the list, comment below and I will!
